In the beginning...

I created a blog. I had no idea how stressful this would be! I've looked at a trillion backgrounds, buttons, blogs, etc. and I still don't know if I'm satisfied. It's taken weeks to figure out a name and then once I had it, the background I had picked out to go with it was gone. I've started and walked away from the computer several times all day, not knowing what to write or how to do anything. I spent an hour trying to figure out colors and schemes. So I've decided to take baby steps through all this. Mostly this is for me and to document my life; and I have a delicious life.

Yesterday I tended the girls. I am always a little reluctant about tending all day, I'm always thinking about all the things I need to accomplish and catch up on, but once I'm there with them, everything else goes out the window. I love, love, love being around them. They are so happy to see me and have no qualms at all seeing their mom go off to work. A co-worker of mine had forwarded to me the little piggy going wee, wee, wee all the way home sound from the commercial (knowing I love that commercial), onto my cell phone. I played it for the girls and R wanted to hear it again, and A took my phone and hid it in the toy oven. She thought it was "scary". We read a ton of books, watch Handy Manny and Mickey Mouse, and play with their toys. I just smile all day long.

My next step is to learn to post pictures. That will be day two.
